dBm. decibels relative to one milliwatt. As the dBm magnitude gets greater (further from zero) the signal strength decreases. The example RSSI (received signal strength indicator) vs. dBm graph below shows a sample relationship. A higher RSSI value indicates stronger signal strength. Keep in mind that the graph below is not relative to the cellular data posted on this website, rather to another application of the same measurements.
